Time to setup a BTC Pay server. Fuck me if i'm going to give a % cut of sales to Zaprite. Fixed fee was great, no need to insert themselves in the middle of my sats flow.

@Great Ghee want to split hosting cost? @Vitamin E?
Pretty sure BTC Pay supports multi-tenant.
I'll give you an acct on my instance for free.

Love this take 💯 - agree!!
They had a fixed fee model and recently announced they're going to start taking a % of bitcoin flows. No thnx. I'll vibe something that works for me.
Will probably take yout up on that if my other plans fall flats. Square and Strike have APIs so I think I can replicate Zaprite and then have webhooks send me nostr events to notify me of payments and such. Big TBD.
I’m intrigued! currently in the process of setting a website and determining what to use for payment platform
Was planning to zaprite but didn’t realize they had changed the fee structure 🤔
Whoa.. did this just change?!
There's an email about it.
Worth looking into but i'm not interested in having a new middle man collect a fee for every transaction. Credit card companies ruined that idea.
the barrier to entry is so low

Damn… Not being a payment processor and trying to take a cut of each transaction is ridiculous. The reason tradfi processes get a % is they at least handle the whole process for you, poorly, but they at least do it.
Oh shit wasn't aware of that. I believe in your vibe coding skills 🫡.
I used to work with a platform that did donations for non profits. They took 6% of all gifts. It always made no sense when one person paid $6 in fees, and the more generous person might be paying $600.
Immoral
Damn, that’s rough
