I've been poking at some security cameras. I may need to look into frigate instead of ZM. The undocumented RTSP is crazy to me. The best way to find cameras on your own network is to use on of the "find insecure cameras on the internet" hacking tools but ZM, and it sounds like Frigate, don't include one and the included discovery tools are crap. I agree that it is WAY harder than it should be. I will probably be able to get it working but packaging nice for others and closing every edge case may be beyond my current skills.
