hah! i saw a ntfy notification on my phone today and was like ..... 🤔 I can nostr this. I stopped short of asking "should I?" because why not? I use ntfy a lot on a self-hosted instance. it's great self-hosted, but if it's literally just a server that catches http requests and rebroadcasts them, and a handful of client apps that know how to format them and create OS-level notifications, why do we need all the ntfy.sh stuff and the difficulty of self-hosting an instance, when nostr already does almost all of that?
