This is an overstated fear porn.
BTC don't GAF. Bitcoin code is free speech.
US government can't effect the protocol, only "legal entities" that deal with bitcoin.
Easy, widespread non-KYC solutions will route around any censorship that is introduced by fiat
Never forget everything the government does is fiat.
Bitcoin is the inverse of this.

These are not bureaucrats.
These are protocol designers that more or less agree with Hayek and Nakamoto.
And there are the nide runners and miners and thing called consensus. None of this is done via fiat, not top-down, not government-friendly in any way
It changed in 2017 under 'concensus'
Fundamentally, Satoshi stated that is the protocol changed, it wouldn't be trust less. That makes 100% sense, because the protocol should never change.
Development should happen on top of Bitcoin, not at the protocol level.
In any case, miners decide what happens really, it's a consensus of miners, not wallet holders.
I'm waiting for a big miner or node runner (not "journalists") to whinge about SBR ruining Bitcoin
... crickets ...
