This is exactly the kind of defeated, pseudo-intellectual bullshit that keeps people passive. You're not exposing some hidden truth—you're doing the work of the powerful for them by trying to convince people that resistance is futile.
I was in Portland at the BLM protests. Trump couldn't do a thing about it, and it pissed him off.
He tried everything to shut it down—federal agents, threats, propaganda—and still couldn't stop it.
Now he's trying the same playbook again, deploying federal forces—National Guard, ICE, Border Patrol, Marines—to LA, DC, Chicago, Portland, Memphis, with plans for New Orleans, NYC, Baltimore, San Francisco, and more.
If protests just "strengthen authority" like you're claiming, why does he keep desperately trying to crush them?
This "protesting makes you compliant" take is pure defeatism dressed up as wisdom. It's capitulation with a thesaurus.
The powers that be don't need to fund protests to control you—they just need you to believe fighting back is futile. You're spreading their propaganda for free.

That’s an actual video from the a No Kings protest.
No I do not say that resistance is futile.
You are seeing this from the perspective of a statist.
I see it from the perspective of a sovereign individual that do not have any duties for the state and do not bend the knee before any state. I am my own state.
Lean to be a sovereign individual.
every action is an attempted state change, therefore acknowledging some state (particular condition that someone or something is in at a specific time).
getting something to eat is an acknowledgement of the hunger. (so in this way I agree with you)
protesting is a tool for disruption, or taking power in some sense.
the individual has no military, no jails, and no tolls.
It's asymmetric conflict. The people vs The State.
If you will not take up arms to defeat The State in the interests of your own personal will, you are not sovereign. Can sovereignty be accomplished while also in hiding?
Should every person, even if in the wrong, stops going to work... then what? Protesting can be a show of power if done well, like a union strike.
The State allows for protests, but not violence. If we can't reject the game, then we may try to win within its bounds.
If all one knows of protest is from media sources, you may not know what's actually happening there.
