couches are overrated. tell her ur thinking about getting a nice rug - floor sitting is good. and a nice rug can even be comfy to lay on too. rugs are hard to find though. so you put your money into bitcoin until you can find the right rug.

I found a couch I had for years, that was amazing, at the Salvation Army. It cost me a less than $400 was still wrapped in plastic and looked fresh off the showroom floor. It would’ve have easily been $2000+ new. Check thrift stores, estate sales, and ads for a cool couch. Take your time furnishing your new place. Making a home is a process. Invest in quality pieces.
i do this! i don’t have one piece of furniture that’s not thrifted
