Truly remarkable that some of the biggest proponents of ending censorship and corporate and government control of money and speech don’t use it. Trust, don’t verify.

Truly remarkable that we have a censorship resistant alternative to Twitter with integrated open source money And it somehow works decently well

Define Use. I use it like my grandmother used Gold. She lived through the hell of Idi Amin and then The Congress Party of India (The guy Rahul Gandhi you were being all pally with, his disguating Family robbed the country blind and they are still trying to grab power again). She scoffed at them all and held Gold! As for Uganda, she saw what was happening and swiftly moved her Gold abroad. There was no Bitcoin during her lifetime. She left me a nice chunk of Gold. RIP Grandma. Thanks for the lessons.

Define Proponent! Often the loudest Proponents are the biggest hypocrits or even Trojan Horses (enemy spies). Don't be naive friends. The enemies of Bitcoin have many plots and many agents!!! Beware.

he advocates 'freer' speech, he is apparently getting rid of blocks which is good but the bitch ceo he hired is bringing lots of the old censors back

Yeah. Define proponent indeed. What were they selling just a few years back? Why are they plugging the opposite things now? Decentralisation is wonderful. But does that have to mean non-eraseable? Are there any drawbacks to the giving the internet an indelible memory? Of course. The enemies of humanity will exploit the zeitgeist in their favour, whichever way the wind blows. The internet is just a tool, let's never forget it.

Come to think of it, "don't trust, verify" is a bit mantra like, isn't it? If we become uncritical absolutists about anything, allowing beliefs to replace thoughts and rules to replace principles, we can be led to the slaughter just as easily.
