They go surprisingly well together, but I gathered from discussion it was really popular in maybe the 70s and has since faded off of most menus. Lamb is really hit and miss for me. Sometimes a lamb chop at a nice restaurant is mind-blowingly good, but enough times it's not so great that I now generally don't consider ordering it.
