Dont work w2 jobs
Simply put, you can't opt out. Your employer also gets hammered with legal trouble for failing to file or furnish W2s to the IRS. Meaning, if you get a W2, the IRS already knows.
Seems to be the only way to opt out

most employers prefer doing 1099 just ask. if they dont its probably a larger company that sucks to work for anyway.
