Yeah I ran my own instance but it was all and "open" walled garden imo. No one "federates" with single user servers so I was posting to like 20 people 😂
I know single user instances have trouble federating, but I don’t really know how it works. But yeah, fedi is a complete disaster, it’s so fractured.
Yeah and on here alot of racists love to comment under posts like this. Open or closed source stupidity still gets through
