In the USA I deal with capital gains taxes .... did Satoshi consider that ? Need that $600 deminimus legislation to go thru. Then I'll happily spend $599 to help things out.

I also live in The USA. I try my best to live off of Bitcoin, and Crypto as much as possible. But I do agree that the regulations make it difficult for law abiding citizens to embrace freedom but for me personally I don't care because Bitcoin is supposed to free individuals to engage in the transactions they want. When people buy weed they don't ask for permission, they just buy it, and light up. I view Bitcoin as the same as marijuana, that people spend so much of it that enforcing against its usage is impossible, that it's just easier to decriminalize/legalize than crack down, and enforce.
