War is not inherently genocide. Israel has every right to defeat Hamas, and if Hamas chooses to fight in the middle of a city, Israel gets to flatten it.
Israel of course has gone well beyond what it is required to do by giving people living in these cities plenty of opportunities to move to safety.

However, we do know that the Israeli people have just endured a devastating attack akin to their own "9/11 on steroids."
