The negative externalities of industrial food systems are being exposed as a result. Dangerously high levels of nitrates in the water supply--far exceeding legal limits. One of the fastest growing states for new cancer cases--especially targeting reproductive systems. It's likely too late to reverse this trend and I suspect this issue will get considerably worse in the decades. Cancer and healthy populations require a multi generational approach.
