They were then sent to rubber and sugar plantations across the Americans to work. <500,000 made it to North America directly. The rest came there after they escaped enslaved conditions in the Carribean plantations, Brazil, sold to Europe, etc. ALL African Americans are descendants of these STOLEN people.
