Not that I think Monero is dying, or that they understand what is going on, but the general glee for the percieved downfall of another freedom tool has made me pretty disgusted lately...

Exactly. It isn't just disgusting behavior imo it's also pretty disappointing

As the saying goes, "A strong wind reveals the hardy grass; a crisis reveals a person's true character." Through a crisis, one can recognize that many people do not cherish freedom as much as they claim in normal times.
