So I'm trying to get a show of numbers before organizing. How many people would be interested in participating in Nostr Idol If you can let me know or express your interest on nostr. So far I got a few interested. Maybe do this monthly. @The Marie ⚡️🦂 would be one of the judges 👩‍⚖️ . Thoughts? Opinions? Would you want to participate? You can win sats by singing your heart out on a open decentralized protocol 😎

- We host it on zap.stream - 3 judges with one being a special guest from the bitcoin and nostr space or not who cares 😅. - Contestants video call in on hive talk. (Only problem is technically people can cheat this way with autotune software thats been out seen the 80s) - Winner 🏆 wins all sats donated/tipped to the stream will go to winner of nostr idol 😅. Bam Nostr first reality TV show 🫡.

There should be a way for people to donate to the winner outside of having to do zapstream … cause timing etc

Im in, Craig! I have much experience with American Idol (seasons 1 & 2) and Wichita’s Recovery Idol for many of my sober years. (Which we did as an annual fundraiser concert). LFG! 🚀

Zap.stream allows for multi streaming but like it's nostr Idol not youtube idol. You can zap anyone on nostr as long as they have a lightning address. We will promote everyone's npubs don't worry 😅 in case you don't agree with the winner.

It has nothing to do with who the winner is. I wanted to be able to donate sats for the contestants outside of having to go to watch a show. Bluntly: that would bore me to tears. 😭 Still, I want to help other #nostriches with their dreams. Make sense?

Yeah, but I wasn't sure that what's being discussed is just a version of that on Nostr. Or if it was general talent contest related to nostr. Which is why I asked.

Im talking about donating sats BEFORE the show. It doesn’t matter who the contestants are. The sats can then be distributed after a winner is announced. FFS 🤦‍♂️ WHY IS THIS HARD to communicate?

I'm half asleep about to work a 12 hour shift tomorrow 😴... I don't get your question... You can zap contestants before no problem. We will share their npubs. What's stopping you from zapping them before the show?

Nothing at all. I was just trying to submit a large amount to one place & then you ( as show maker ) would have to distribute it based on how others decide. Less work on my part & the winner takes all as the contest intended 🤣🤣🤣
