Oh weird. I noticed it wasn't in my feed when I posted it, and had to go to my timeline to find it (needed it to click the hashtag). I don't get why wordles are particularly problematic for nostr.... makes me worry for the long term success of nostr that it's problematic still

Could be that it’s only publishing to a hardcoded set of relays instead of using the user’s NIP65 relay set.

I have absolutely no idea. That's far too technical a statement for me to address🤷🏻‍♂️.

I don't actually know the NIP, but infer what it means and that makes some sense. There's also "the amethyst" bug too, which I think is related to the large number of emojis somehow causing problems, but I'm just kinda guessing from bits I've read here and there. I'm not using amethyst, so that's not the case here, just saying

Yeah, this is sort of what I imagined it was. While we're on the subject, I think I'm ready to better understand some of the technicals of how nostr stuff works. Is there a best place to educate oneself on this? I know I could be more specific, but figure I'd just ask the basic question and see what you suggest as a starting point. If I get further along, maybe I'd have some useful follow-ups. I just want to better understand some basics of events and their components (the most common ones; for example here there is a mention of r-tags, which I don't know a thing about), and how relays works in a bit more detail. I don't know enough to frame it better than that for now.

Your best bet at this point is to ask your favorite LLM to explain it to you in plain English.
