I love Luke. I’ve even given him 1 BTC before…and given that it was in the form of a Bitbill, he might even still have it. But I DISAGREE with Luke. His position is not a technical one; it’s an absolute moral judgment position. And while I agree with the morality underlying his position, I don’t agree with how that is translated into Bitcoin.

This is more than 80 GB of spam that degrades Bitcoin. Big OP_RETURNs do open the risk of CSAM BIP 110 and Bitcoin Knots are what fix Bitcoin. I assume you saw that Citrea launched a shitcoin on top of Bitcoin? That Citrea scammers where Lopp is investor and Core supported them with their spam and shitcoin "use cases" image

Spam devalaues Bitcoin. Spam is waste. Waste of processing power, waste of hash power, waste of bandwith and waste of storage space. Shitcoins are not valuable becuase they are different kinds of spam. Bitcoin is Money and that is where its value is.
