That is accurate with a caveat. A TrueSdX does actually have USB direct connection via some odd drivers and hacky setups. It isn't great however. It is much better with a digirig or similar in between. So the TrueSdX would be connected to digirig via audio and ptt cables, and the digirig via USB. The truesdx also doesn't have antenna tuner, so the wire antenna needs to be tuned and low swr, or throw a small portable tuner in between.
