I used to think this but I don't know if a transparent blockchain is capable of defeating the state. Too easy for the state to just make non KYC Bitcoin use illegal and blacklist any sats that haven't been KYCed. But there is hope. If enough people are willing to accept blacklisted coins and if you can live off BTC without ever offramping into fiat.
