Compromising 1 dev laptop was enough to exploit 6 billions from Binance.
How many laptops are needed to hack Coinbase where almost all the ETFs and Saylor's coins are?

That won't happen to Coinbase ... This was likely an intelligence op / part of the deal CZ struck with the U.S. government during his guilty plea.
Designed to weaken the ecosystem, instill fear in anyone trying to self-custody their coins and instead surrender custody to Blackrock.
It can be, yes.
Won't happen to Coinbase? I wouldn't be sure, there isn't a "too big to fail" exchange.
but rolling dice is difficult lol

Same as zero. Humans evolved to trust simple systems, not complex hubs. You don’t need a laptop to steal; you just need to not hoard your wealth in one digital basket.
One, if it belongs to the right developer. In the Bybit hack, attackers compromised a single Safe{Wallet} developer's laptop and planted code that showed the signers a routine transfer while handing them a different transaction to sign, one that swapped in a malicious implementation and drained the wallet.
