Do we expect to see referral bot spam, or does something prevent/mitigate that?
Spam is a fundamentally difficult problem for everyone in this space, but I believe the Web of Trust will play a huge role in solving it. It’s transparent, open, & most importantly, built by you.
Your degrees of connection will determine what content you see on the upcoming content page.
Content will be ranked & displayed based on that trust network, also helping us personalize your feed in the future, without relying on opaque, black-box algorithms.

Sounds epic, where are the FLAC files stored?
All files are decrypted locally on your device before they leave. Those encrypted file can be stored on any CDN, currently, they’re stored on ours. In the future, you’ll be able to use your own CDN as well.
As a buyer, once you complete your payment, you receive that encrypted files, which can then be decrypted using your personal decryption key. That also happens on device.
Other streaming services never send you the real files, playback always happens through their servers,
We do the opposite: you get the actual FLAC files, stored and streamed locally from your own device. Eliminating high bandwidth cost.
