17 years since the Genesis Block. From a few #cypherpunks to sovereign wealth funds. From zero to $2T market cap. #Bitcoin's origin story is unmatched - born in the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis, it's now becoming the solution. Happy Birthday #Bitcoin. The next 17 years will be even wilder.

Happy Genesis Block Day! 🧡🎉⛏️
🎉🥳

💢Seventeen years have passed since the first #Bitcoin block was mined; a network that neither shut down nor went away. #Bitcoin was born in the midst of the 2009 financial crisis, to put an end to the inflationary and traditional banking and monetary system.
In those seventeen years, #Bitcoin has survived complex bugs, its founder disappeared, hackers attacked, exchanges collapsed, governments threatened, the price has repeatedly fallen but risen again and again.
In each price drop that many declared the end of #Bitcoin, it was only a refinement phase. The hash rate rose, development continued, and blocks were created nonstop.
#Bitcoin went from a corner of the Internet to the balance sheets of companies, ETFs, and even governments. While centralized systems failed one by one, the network continued to operate with an uptime close to the critical infrastructure of the Internet. Without a manager, without a central office, without permission.
#Bitcoin's 17th birthday is not a celebration of price; it's a testament to survival. A network that was destined to die many times, but only grew stronger. Not because of hype, not because of political power, but because it was designed right.
