Is nostr busier now or a couple of years ago? I have a feeling that the engagement has gone down significantly with bitcoin price but hasn’t picked up since the bitcoin price picked up.

I do personally think that Nostr-(based apps) is definitely a stronger concept that most other apps, though as someone who got here maybe 4 hours ago, I will say that onboarding was a bit tricker than, say, Mastodon, at least in my opinion.

There are some very stubborn and relatively easy to fix UX issues, a lot of progress has been made but nostr is far from user friendly

We’re good, Can’t imagine wanting to pay attention to more than 2500 people🚁😁
Most people don't care about the risk of being banned from their platform, because it is unlikely to ever happen to them
Profilestr.com isn't an accurate source: "Nobody matches 'Kitty Kawasaki' Search looks at names, display names, NIP-05 addresses and bios. Try a shorter name, or paste their npub."
Even if he and i met IRL then eventually stalked one another at various times then realized we are both bat 🦇 shit 💩 crazy 😜 and deserve to be friends forever Even then? This is me sober 🤣
@21_21_21 Agreed on stubborn and easy to fix. The one I hit every time I onboard somebody is key handling, where a new user has to understand what an nsec is inside five minutes or they lose the account. Which ones are on your list?

Nostr doesn’t have enough propaganda than bitcoin. With embracing monero but many people, some minor BTC enthusiasts like me got disheartened and left. Tried twitter, Reddit in the meantime. Slop.
