The true magnitude of the theft we are subject to in a debt based monetary system is only truly apparent when we understand that it is not only the value being stolen through compounding annual inflation, but the compounding loss of the deflationary effects we would otherwise realize through ever-increasing productivity and efficiency.

What I find staggering is how greedy and selfish these people are. To have taken so much from humanity and still not be content.
Pathetic.
This knowledge also makes one look inward at whether one would accept decreases in pay as market conditions dictated (to maintain employment) or agree to apply a portion of the capital gains to helping others of our own free will. Maybe someone decided long ago in looking at human nature that the answer is no.
You’re on fire today 1776, spot on!
This is the true theft. Inflation is one thing. Turn the printer off, and the credit card is maxed out.

Thanks buddy. I wish I could convince those outside of the echo chamber to care. Alas, pain will be the best teacher yet again.
Sad but true. I’d have quite a bit more bitcoin if hadn’t given away so much trying to get the message across to those I could reach. At the end of the day, it costs more than arms and legs to change a mind about Bitcoin. Pain is cheaper.
If I were wiser, I would have kept my sats and had a great deal more for those at the periphery of my sphere for when the inevitable occurs…
yes! and taking it one step further, it’s not only value that’s being stolen from us, but our TIME that’s
being stolen. I remember a four day work week was promised nearly 20 years ago. Now people work their main job + side hustles. We work around the clock because inflation keeps stealing our time. Watch through the end for my one minute take on this 👊🧡
That is the part that really gets me. Yet I still see people at my workplace clamouring to put in extra time in salaried positions for what equates to 2012 wages. No thanks.

and the rot penetrates even deeper than the economic surface layer.
it poisons the social relations which are the substrate in our humanity
