Frankly, @ABH3PO has been the only user asking for it. So, it's in the pipeline, but very low priority.
Yeah, see, well... aKtuAly... I did a poll about that.
Nostriches polled in this global, normed and representative survey, with a statistical margin of error of ±16, think polls are more or less awesome.

I'll join the ranks of those asking for non-payment polls. It'd help me start prioritizing what I work on for nostrcal.
He's clearly a poll denier. I even used maths and gifs and stuff, but he's not budging.

It seems insane to me that a social network would not have polls that everyone can participate in. Not referring to amethyst specifically but any kind 1 client that wants to be taken seriously.

Me too, but the apathy towards the feature is quite telling. It will come in time.
The users aren't apathetic, the devs are.
I just like them cuz I'm a girl and chicks dig polls. Only thing even cooler than a poll is a quiz, which is why my onboarding wizard should help them pick a Nostr daily driver client, by asking them questions like:
1. "What is your favorite flower?"
2. "Do you stack sats, bits, or have a credit card with a running balance?"
3. "Have you heard of someone named Odell?"
4. "Do you want to hang with some friends on here, or shout out at the world?"
Since we have the @Pollerama Bot and Pollerama and Jumble have poll-creation facilities, we'd mostly just need a viewer/rendered with voting buttons.
I get dozens of requests for new features every day. The users aren't apathetic, they just don't care about polls specifically. Only other devs talk about polls. It will come, but it is definitely not the priority.
