Yes. Both are amazing for different reasons. Horse is good for lighter application areas where nutrients are more plentiful. Chicken is higher in nutrients but can burn & damage if its not applied properly / composted

You need a ph meter as well. You want it between 6-7 . Unless you want a high calcium uptake for cell division. You would want liquid bone meal and then the pH is 7-7.5. You will also need microbes for better uptake in that situation.
