#introductions hi, i'm Hakeem. Using Bitcoin since 2012. Lost most of it playing Texas Hold-Em. 🃏 I'm not a Bitcoin maxi, but a privacy & freedom maxi. I run a conscious technology company (https://abovephone.com) and have a show covering tech news. (https://tbot.substack.com) We are experiencing the biggest shift in consciousness ever seen before. Those clinging to old systems or old ways will be pinned under the rubble. Those willing to challenge themselves, their beliefs, and adapt will pave a new path forward for humanity. Welcome Hakeem, formly known as... well you know. I used to be a member of your Telegram channel. Garnet is a branch of Amethyst that integrated Monero zaps along with Bitcoin Lightning zaps. The developer did it as a proof of concept. Once he proved it could be done, he stopped development.

You should Nostr verify yourself using your Above Phone website. Give yourself the Nostr "blue" checkmark. It's fairly easy. A JSON file in a folder somewhere.

zaps are public which is a feature so people can see who finds what content valuable. lightning has decent privacy features. ecash is even better. you can use other wallets in Primal that have whats called Nostr Wallet Connect. @Minibits is a good one to play with. @Gigi may be willing to fill you in further. Followed. I like that your company takes Monero. Rest assured. I'll send many customers your way. What I'd like to know. Do you support open source firmware/BIOS out of the box? With some Linux OSes and systemd considering adding age verification how do you plan to handle this? Will you give support to those who refuse. How do you protect/deletet customer data? It's highly sensitive information or do you recommend proxy buyers? Welcome to Nostr!

Maybe you can also sell meshnet (Reticulum, Meahcore-open or Meshtatstic) equipment. I sense great future potential and I bet that people interested in buying a GOS phone or a Linux laptop are also interested in creating a backbone for their secure communications. Do you have a SimpleX link on your website for customer support? This should be the standard over email already.

He's already onboard with Monero. Ecash is nice, but because it is custodial it is best where you already have a trust relationship with the mint. For example giftcards should really be ecahs based. So should be conference or concert tokens that you use to spend at a certain event. Everyday commerce functions differently.

Hello 👋 My sacred mission is to be retarded ⭕ You can send lighting to anyone's lightning address with any wallet without using Nostr. If they have Monero or silent payment on-chain addresses, use those if you wish. The beauty is being able to trust the address belongs to that person, and sending it off-Nostr is extremely private.
