You put one sock on then put it on the floor to put the other sock on before your shoes?
I put the socked foot on its shoe like a cultured person

If you're going to put it on the shoe, why not just put it in the shoe instead?
because it takes a second to put the other sock on
and 30 seconds to lace up my boot.
