Future Venutians will still be competitive because solar panels closer to the sun are more effective. And future Martians may have a bigger disadvantage, but deuterium is 5x more abundant on Mars the on Earth, so they'll be finding blocks for part of their year too. I think the future of humanity in the Solar system is bright.
