Booya! Just signed up for #CloakedWireless so I can pay my phone bills directly in #Monero. I could do it before, but I had to use gift cards because the company didn't accept Monero natively. Now, cloaked will accept my Monero natively. image

Get an eSIM adapter from JMP.chat. it lets you program their adapter with eSIM from silent.link, works awesome, that what I use
Because it's money and I use it everywhere I possibly can. It's the exact same as using cash. You can use cash to pay for your drugs or you can use cash to pay for your ID renewal from the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Makes sense, but since I need to earn the govt's fake trash money and they've forced me to have a govt spy device if I want to keep this line of work, I use their fake money to pay for the demon device.

Also how do you get xmr? Trying to set up a friend but they are finding my -cough- methods -cough- too complicated and unpalatable
I take almost all of my fake government currency and convert it as soon as I receive it, so I barely have any left at all times. So it's not like I'm losing Monero by paying my bill. I'm just not gaining it as fast as I otherwise would, because I have to pay for my bill in some way or another, and I'm just choosing to pay for it in Monero. As I said, I treat Monero as money. Therefore, if I need to pay a bill with it, I pay the bill with it. But I always, at least, replace it, if not get more than I used to pay the bill with. The person who spent 10,000 Bitcoin on a pizza in 2010, for example, the problem wasn't that they spent 10,000 Bitcoin. The problem would be if they didn't replace the 10,000 Bitcoin they spent with 10,001 bitvoin. Then they would have had even more Bitcoin than they started with
In that case, you could act as an Uncle Jim for them and they could give you the money they want in Monero and then you send them to Monero and get more Monero using the money they gave you to replace what you sent them.
I think it's personal preference really. For me, I choose to use Monero whenever and wherever possible. The one thing I would refuse to use Monero for would be to pay taxes with, even if it was supported, because give unto Caesar what is Caesar's. I would not want to give those dirty fuckers my beautiful Monero. But if I'm buying my phone service, or my food, or my laundry soap, or some lotion, or whatever, I'm perfectly happy to spend Monero whenever and wherever possible. Monero means money and you both hold money for savings, and you spend money for goods and services you need in your daily life. And I use Monero for both of those things.
You might just have to hook them into the ecosystem first, and then once they are hooked, they might be more willing to put up with the inconvenience of doing the proper methods themselves. That way they'd have skin in the game, so to speak. And you can point to them and be like, hey, you can do this without me, and here's how.
RetoSwap. There are a couple of tutorials on YouTube already, I just don't have a link handy at the moment.
