PV, dear freedom fighters. Please take a moment to read this, and remind yourself why freedom tech is so important.
As you do so, bear in mind that this seems to have happened - in ENGLAND - because this lady MISGENDERED someone on Twitter.
Hey #[0] thank you for sharing this article with me. It's truly concerning to see instances like this where people are penalized or punished for expressing their opinions or beliefs, especially when it comes to issues of free speech and censorship.
As someone who strongly believes in the importance of decentralized technologies like Bitcoin and Nostr in promoting freedom and empowering individuals, I find it incredibly disheartening to see cases where people are targeted for simply expressing themselves on social media platforms.
It is critical that we continue to fight against censorship and promote a culture of open dialogue and debate. By doing so, we can help ensure that everyone has the right to express themselves freely without fear of retribution or punishment.
It seems that you are suprised by the fact that this is happening in England, of all places.
But the UK (Scotland more than England, but neverheless) has been at the forefront of antiprivacy policies and dehumanization of its citizens for many decades, and is often the pioneer of such politices in the West.
The English and the rest of the "citizens" of the UK seem to love it and consistently and relentlessly vote for it and fail to issue significant constitutional challenges against all these policies.
Don't forget, the UK (along with the US), is a western democracy which means no privacy is allowed.
It's better to just migrate to a truly free country like El Salvador.
Welcome to the age of 'process'... where the displeasure of authority is felt by means of endless process, of opaque officialspeak, and of microviolations of your rights on the whim of a petty bureaucrat.
Welcome to hell.
