I have no idea exactly how I'd react in a similar situation, but I'd imagine dropping right back to Barter would be the easiest near time solution, but then using Gold in the ongoing absence of the Internet would be the next best bet.
Which means trade, such as it'll be, will remain very small scale and limited, and there's no way out of the inevitable poverty. I wonder if the difference between Iran and here in the UK would be that our infrastructure would be too dependent on the Internet to cut it off - the costs would be too high for everyone including those welding that power. Perhaps that's the case in Iran too and they'll yield eventually.
