My argument against this, is that Trump and his Family acquired 2 billion in BTC. Why would he want to confiscate his own Bitcoin.
Secondly, they can revalue BTC to whatever price they want. If they have one million BTC or two million is irrelevant, if the price is set through government mandate. Why go through the hassle of shaking it out of millions of paranoid and potentially prepared bitcoiners.
I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately and am in the process of investigating how me and my clients can properly position in the reality of post-kyc acquisition. Hopefully we have a little time and there are solutions for people who aren’t already wealthy. Obviously non-kyc is best but that’s not practical for a lot of people.
I agree. But we'll see. Best to err on side of caution and become locally involved to help educate so your area can ignore/resist any 6102. Builds resilience for your area either way and lifts all boats.
Absolutely. 💯 %. Don’t get me wrong, I am paranoid about confiscation/taxation and I am proud of it.
Watch this and spend the time to think about it. I think this is a spot-on analysis and should be taken very, very fuckin' seriously.
