I might be completely off my ass, but I think people are falling for the same thing that they kind of do in Bitcoin, which is adoption at all costs. We get one easy to use client that solves a lot of problems. It makes zaps easy for people. It makes the whole creating an account thing easy for people. People want easy. Most people don't want to have to think. That's why they're on shit like TikTok and Instagram and other sorts of social media. I also think there's a lack of understanding of why people need these technologies. So they fall for some of the same pitfalls of legacy media. Also, it doesn't help that there are influencers that people trust who shill these products a bunch.
