My rebuttal to your rebuttal would be that Amethyst is a big client, and it thus matters what "features" are supported, and even more importantly what is considered "good" and what might become some kind of default over time.

I hear you, Gigi. The more I think about all this the more troubling it becomes. Especially thinking about consolidating on-chain zaps with other bitcoin. That gives me the willies for sure.
