As a fellow YouTuber. I didn’t start uploading to Nostr until I got deplatformed, it was only then that I felt I had the need to invest in building content up Nostr. Even after I got the YT channel back we continue to post on here and alternative platforms like Rumble / X YouTube platform is slick, convenient, and that’s where most of the volume is. Until I went through the scare we went through from a business perspective I never had the need to use alternatives. That’s probably what’s going on with your YouTube friends.
