Cycling zaps is easier than buying likes.
When you cycle zaps you send from a fake account to yourself and back. Repeat this procedure and get an artificially high zap count.
Faking likes requires a large number of accounts. On traditional social media acquiring a large number of accounts is a bit less trivial.
