Isn't there a risk here of devs getting captured by the paper monster/"the suits" ?
Let's destroy the suits, but first let them payroll us?

I don’t see that happening. If the suits try, opensats board will certainly refuse those donations further. The opensats board is the barrier here
Donations are made with no strings attached to these orgs. And none of these orgs dictate what the developers work on.
