If you pronounce it "Noss-Turr" then "Nostradamus" doesn't work any more. Or noStrudel. It'd be "noss-terr-damus" and "noss-turdal". Please tell me this isn't how you guys are saying these words.

You know, I generally pronounce words as they seem natural using context. This funny chide leads me to believe you pronounce either "Eyes" or "Yes" strangely. Because you apply pronunciation rules to words that use the same suffix or root.
