True, it’s just that sparrow is greatly recommended by every Bitcoin YouTube channel and people just go and download it without any due deligence. Some guy lost his entire life savings on a fake sparrow wallet. There should be someway where influencers can at least help prevent these huge mistakes somehow. I remember hearing about sparrow when I first started and looking for a mobile app. People heavily recommend things like this but forget crucial information that could save someone’s stack.

When possible, install from source. Sparrow always signs their releases so you can also verify that it was signed by the creator. Most people will not take these steps...
