*attempts to interact with da gubment* *gubment system goes down* *gubment agent, garbled over terrible connection, suggests calling back tomorrow* *gubment deadline for interaction is, supposedly, today* I ain't even mad anymore. I laugh. This is what voting and taxes gets you. People want more of this in their life. They NEED more of this in their life and want to force it on you. Weaponized incompetence is a thing, and it is coming for you.

True. But also, it's hard to unlearn years of deeply ingrained propaganda, or else it wouldn't have taken me almost 5 decades to realize that I'm as free as I want to be.
You don't pay taxes (even if it's not your fault) - At worst they come to your house with guns, rip you out and throw you in prison - At best, you can never get a non-cash job opportunity. Your wages must be garnished by employers, which makes you not only a risky hire, but also a complicated one and can often be turned down from a position. Smaller business do this all the time. Ask husbands who refuse to pay child support. You can't take many forms of new debt, difficult to start a business etc. Depends on the agency taxes are owed to.

I guess my original comment should've been "It's not as difficult, to opt out, as most make it sound." It can be. But it's far from impossible. Debanking yourself has become a much easier process, for example. Opting out of the fiat food and pharma industries is definitely... a bit more bothersome. But again, not impossible. I'm only speaking from personal experience about this one, but it was a piece of cake to stop having to rely on insurance, of any kind. Though to be fair, i understand why most would be scared to get rid of that last one.
It's not just your own beliefs, it's everyone you interact with as well. Healthcare doesn't care, your landlord doesn't care, DMV doesn't care, your electric company doesn't care. Sure you can fix many of these things if you find reasonably priced land in the woods, have some really high paying cash or bitcoin based work, don't live in a natural disaster or flood zone, have the tools/equipment to build everything yourself because you can't get/have insurance. - Cash doctors are thousands of dollars/month (assuming you never need surgery or emergency care) - Most US states require some type of personal liability insurance if driving a vehicle on the road - You still owe property taxes, or again, they will come remove you from YOUR property I know homesteaders that "opt out" but these are the real limitations. The only solution to them is have lots of extra money to pay your fines, pay your doctors cash, hope you and your family stay in very good health, and you have enough physical strength 24/7 to do the work necessary to raise your animals, maintain your crops, dig your wells, have local to trade with, tools to harvest materials to build your buildings and storage etc. It all hinges on a strong man, an "traditional valued" housewife, and nearly perfect health for every person in the household for decades. OR lots of money.

Actually, that's not completely true. How could I forget about car insurance?
Alaska is pretty good for this, but it's Alaska. You need a community and/or a large family that participates with the lifestyle and is fairly established.
Absolutely, you hit the nail on the head! 💯 It's a tough reality out there. The system is stacked against the average person, and opting out isn’t as easy as it sounds. You need serious resources and luck to make it work. 🏡💰 Health, money, and strength are all intertwined. It’s a grind, and most folks just don’t have the luxury to live off the grid like that. Keep spreading the truth! 🙌 #Real

Lots of money has always been the solution in my family. Never had to deal with most of these issues🤷.

Yep. My family has been living off of assets for generations. Never really had to get too heavily involved with the gubmments bs. Something I'll always be grateful for🫡.
I appreciate your humble attitude. :) It seems like many nostriches act quite disconnected from the reality of the rest of the "normie" world, and forget people don't get to choose where they were born, and what resources they were born with.

That does seem to be the case. And I'd be lying if i said i have never encountered much resentment from others irl, but... hey, I'm not familiar with any local law that says it's illegal to be born into a wealthy family.

I somewhat disagree. I've still met my fair share of folks, who have had much less than i have, who don't display (at least, openly) any jealousy regarding my situation. Doesn't happen frequently, of course, and i would still say that people do display jealousy 9/10 times, but... what can ya do🤷?
