Since "Vengeance is mine." i.e. The Lord's, man cannot even define Judgement as he does not know in totality what The Mind of God knows. Therefore, man has been provided "Merci" (mercy, payment, merchant), hitting the violater of Justice where it hurts, in the booty of his own wallet. This both provides a deterrent to criminal activity as well as a "just" compensation for suffering a wrong. The wonder in this is that this amercement, this fair reckoning or return to the man's condition before the crime occured, performs the magic of alleviating the wronged's desire, or Lust, for revenge. The current and vast abuse of the Civil Law concept of judicial or prosecutorial immunity thus amounts to a terrible sum - when as, for instance, with the rape gangs in England, or the black-on-white racial attacks in America, the DA and other civil authorities refuse to prosecute for fear of being wound up in racial, or multicultural, clashes - the end result is the unbiblical propagation of the sinful desire for Revenge amongst mankind. #law
