The thing that stops many people from using it as a medium of exchange is that most likely in a few years it will be invaluable

I think what keeps people from using it as a medium if exchange is that they aren't living on a Bitcoin standard. Once you have nothing but Bitcoin it modivates you to spend Bitcoin
