Should give this a go i guess. Somehow nothing ever trumped my winamp + proper directory/file naming library method. All new library tools have always disappointed me in so many ways.

It's a good try at least. I've been fiddling with it for a little while and it's... interesting. Lots of moving parts.
Currently I just use JellyFin. And that works just fine as long Things are labeled correctly.
Using jellyfin too, works pretty well for streaming from home hardware.
