Homesteading and off grid life is doable, I know it is.
But I fear I still need a bit of golden parachute for future dark times.
How much would be the perfect amount of money to have for a life time?

I have the same dreams and I wish I knew the answer to this.
Life is what happens while you make plans. Just go for it 🤙
I think you can work on both those projects in parallel.
I worry less about having a particular amount of money, and more about acquiring and maintaining skills, and the security and resources needed to use them.
Hey, Den,
Keep dreaming, but take the action so sagely recommended by both nostr:nprofile1qqs2j6345gjyq2uqwhzd5g8sgaufdt7vxw2md7kk8cc2vj9gyg4x56gprdmhxue69uhhg6r9vehhyetnwshxummnw3erztnrdakj7q2ywaen5te0dehhxarjd3skuepjvaj8wdm8xdunwdmrw3n8gmmkwe5kcdekwech26ts09kk7dm5wd3hgmrcwp5hw6mwv4m85enfvshx7mnfdahz7zgll9s and by nostr:nprofile1qqsr3kaekp7e8psagp3q443dgjc636rcthcfjlhtg320ztfpwpyv6hqpz4mhxue69uhkummnw3ex2mrfw3jhxtn0wfnsz9thwden5te0d4kx26m49eex2ctv0yhxcmmvqyd8wumn8ghj7un9d3shjtn8v46xzmrz0yhxxmmd9amrzythaye in this thread!😃
I am constantly amazed at how fast life flies by. As Sandy says life is what happened when you make plans but thankfully I am enjoying the process.
The struggle is that where work is and where I want to live are not in the same place.
My focus should probably be taking Low Information Voters advice and aquiring a skill that enables me to earn money online so I am far more location independent. That would be wonderful.
