Chicken meat is also full of parasites. Fun fact about humans, we cook meat to make it safe to eat. The real problem with pork isn't the pork itself it's the low hygiene standards of the feedlots (the exact same problem with beef chicken etc.) The reason that eggs in USA get washed with bleach, the reason that milk need to be pasteurised etc. USA has very low hygiene standards regarding animal products in general. Parasites ain't even rhe biggest issue, pathogens and bacteria are actually a bigger issue
For all the talk of eating meat round these parts, I don’t often hear folks talking about the growth hormones, life quality and other negative aspects of the meat industry. A lot of discussion in previous decades about meat quality seems to have gone away. This is possibly the first time I’ve seen it mentioned here, which given the popularity of carnivore diets seems a bit odd. Probably very different for rural folks who get to know the farmer vs town/city where everything’s wrapped in plastic.
The "Elites" don't want us eating meat. Scare stories like this aid their efforts. If you want healthier meat, improve the system!
The CDC and WHO have delivered deadlier toxins to mankind than any pig, and clearly don't follow any in loco parentis advice from The Bible - so that'll be a no from me 🤗🤗

Yeah none of that is going on from the farm I buy from, that why I don't discuss it. I give them biofertiliser and biochar because I know that's is going to make all their the produce better. Most of the issues with meat industry are primarily American issues like growth hormone (that's banned here) and feedlots aren't common here as the climate is great for growing grass.
