the thing about changing hash functions is even less useful now than it was before also. AI chips and GPUs that are rentable by the second, run whatever you want kernels on it. IMO that's the big mistake of what luke has been proposing. no change in DAA, plus epic compute on demand that is cheaper than the value of the empty blocks you could mine with it... and break the chain's block cadence. what's there to hate about that?
