yeah, i bought 4tb drives 2 years ago. i expect 8 is now available. next year probably 16. then 32 in 2028, at least. idk if gemini is making a reasonable estimation. pretty sure 8tb is the thing now. chip fabs are going crazy making AI chips and that is cutting into flash chips.
honestly, the crash of AI bubble can't come soon enough. they are diverting so much resources into it that have nothing to do with what people actually need
