I think the carnivore diet might be a psyop. Conceived to misdirect people who have realised that processed food is toxic. No need to throw out the baby with the bath water and stop eating fruit. View quoted note →

I also think the people that going full carnivore diet and have their health suddenly improves in few weeks is mainly the result of stopping ultra-processed foods. However, there are also some fruits, vegetables and types of bread that can be bad.
Exactly It’s stopping the seed oils that is the key. Sugar and carbs are used as a scapegoat and distraction from what is really causing the damage : polyunsaturated fat. “Look over here, not there”
I also lost a lot of weight and had little stomach issues, but going 100% carnivore and increasing my fat intake resolved everything. I have zero reasons to stop carnivore atm. I feel great, look great, I'm stronger and my sleep improved a lot
I’m eating 5X the amount of beef I did 2 years ago, but I have dried apricots, dates, mango, and raisins in my house at all times. Have frozen blue berries and strawberries in the freezer for my protein shakes. Always have fresh bananas, lemons, limes, apples and pears. Also mix in the seasonal stuff too.
all I'm saying is go and check out the diet of the Hadzabe tribe in tanzania, the last tribe of hunter gatherers on earth apparently. they're eating approx 2000 different types of plants over the course of a year n they ain't eating steak everyday. they eat a diverse range of meats as well when they catch it, but no ones that successful at hunting to eat meat all the time. and take a look at the human physiology. that's not a digestive system of a carnivore. function governs structure. and if the function of the human digestive system was to eat meat every day then we would have evolved a digestive system that looked very different to the one we have.
I tend to think if you eat things that are verifiably things then you should be ok (so long as you don't eat cars etc.)
We’ve definitely adapted to eat vegetation better than true “carnivores”. However, Based on my own observations on myself and others I’ve advised over the years these things are undeniable to me while doing carnivore. - My digestion is superb. - little to no gas (or smell when I do) - feel better overall - look better, less swelling Having said all that, I still eat some berries, nuts, and some lower glycemic fruits like avocados. I also still eat broccoli sprouts
If you just flip the food pyramid to good meat being your base you can get like 90% of the way there without the struggle of only meat.
Eat what is local and seasonal, it’s very simple but no one what’s to do it.
i think it’s the only elimination diet many people ever try. . and of all the things we eat - our body reacts the least to meat. as a result - people feel good. but we can feel good eating lots of things - we just have to pay attention.
plant based animals have long, drawn out digestive systems. ie. ruminents have many bacterial stores to facilitate the breaking down of plant matter. humans have a short digestive system. singular stomach. short ceaca (appendix). we are very much intended to consume mostly high energy source materials; meats, tubers, and fruiting bodies. leafy greens not so much. traditionally we are not above eating anything to survive, and thats powerful, especially when we need to operate a energy expensive organ like the brain. gut tissue is also expensive to operate and these two compete against each other for energy requirements. the expensive tissue hypothesis is worth a look, and evolutionarily supplies a lot of the framework for a more carniverous diet. 😀
